I’ll keep this brief:
I am not using Google Analytics on this website. The only analytics/tracking tool I use is Plausible, which doesn’t set any cookies.
This means that I don’t know anything about you. Sure, when you visit this website, I’ll only see that the pages you’ve visited have had an extra pageview and if you came here from another website or a platform like Twitter, LinkedIn og Facebook I can see that as well. (It’s called a referer.)
I don’t know who you are, where you live or what your interests are.
On my website you can sign up for my newsletter, Digital Ugerevy. I manage this newsletter in MailChimp and your email address won’t be supplied to anyone. If you are interested in how MailChimp manages that data, visit mailchimp.com/legal.
You can always unsubscribe from the newsletter (by using the link at the bottom of every email) and you can reach out to me if you want me to delete any of your data.
Thank you for your visit – email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
